Show BASKETBALL Basketball was very successful this year under the direction of Miss Ida Stewart. La Dianaeda for the third consecutive time won the championship of the college and is now the owner of the trophy. Norma Standing's team was strong competiiion for the winners, placing second in the tournament. PING PONG Ping Pong had plenty of attraction for the girls this year. This could be attributed in the main to two things-Ihe game itself and Marie Chevers, Ping Pong Manager. BADMINTON VOLLEY BALL Schedules were drawn for both badminton and volley ball and enthusiasm was shown by participating teams. Directors of these two activities were Mary Heinen in charge of badminton and Edith Berghout in charge of volley ball. TENNIS The first signs of spring filled the courts with many girls interested in the game of tennis. A schedule of tournament games was drawn and competition was soon under way. |
