Central, with a 4-2 record prior to Friday’s game, had a chance to tie for the title, but the defeat dropped them out of the picture and gave Mount Ogden (6-1) the crown. Highland was led in scoring by Bruce Gilbert who fired in 19 points. Cold-shooting Central was able to muster only 16 points in the game on seven field goals and two of four from the foul line.
