Show Student Council Meeting A student council meeting: was held Thursday, November 3, first period in the library. The student body president — called the meeting to order. The secretary then read the minutes Mr. Rose, of the previous Mr. advisors were attendence,. Mr. Rose Rhees, all meeting and Mrs. present. related the and called Jackson, Four members procedure of the student were the Red roll, council not in Cross drive, It was decided to have all grade vice presidents in charge of the publicity’ and the presidents of the Boys and Girls Assoceation in charge of the Red Cross boxes, _ The next problem brought up was the office procedure. Mr, Rose instructed all members to relate the correct procedure to their homerooms, which is as follows: All students should get a leave school permit from Mrs, Jackson, Mr. Rhees, or Mr. Rose if for any reason they have to leave the school during school hours. An excuse from home is needed to receive this permit. Then students Should go to the office and get their name put on the absent sheet. If they come back to school they should check in through the office and get an excuse. This excuse should be taken to the home room teacher and that teacher should give an admit for. the other classes. Other instructions for the homerooms were for all students to check the lost and found items in the office, and if anyone should come to the health room or to Mrs, Jackson's, Mr. Rhees's, or Mr. Rose's office,they should come alone unless more than one person is involved. Students are not allowed to use the office phone or to go past the office counter unless given special permission, Everyone was then told of the Victory matinee dance that was to be held Friday November ). The School Spirit commity was put in charge of the dance, Marne' Buswell, student body vice president then related the chances of having a picture show during the months of December and March. It was proposed to talk to Mr, Mordaunt who is in charge of all shows, A report was heard from Jenell Garner, Girls Association president, on there plans for a selling project. Nothing had been definately decided, Wayne Miya, 9th Grade president, reported that the officers were working on a project for the 9th Grade to leave to the school, A report was then given by each commitee chairman on their plans, Mr. Rose announced that the Fathers and Daughters |
