Gospel Explosion Musical A Gospel Explosion Musical will be held on Tuesday, May 1", 7:30 p.m., at Griffin Memorial COGIC, Jurisdiction Women’s Convention to usher in the Utah beginning May 2" — An invitation has been extended to our New Zion choir to render two_musical selections during this musical. We have been asked to RSVP by April 20", to Elder Andrew Clark, Musical Coordinator, at (801) 638-5179 Utah Jurisdiction Women’s Convention The Utah Jurisdiction COGIC Department of Women will host their 42" Annual Women’s Convention, May 2-4, 2012 at Griffin Memorial COGIC. Nightly services will begin with prayer at 700 pm. followed by the service at 7 30 pm. Convention speakers are as follows May 2", Missionary Vanessa Miller of Rehoboth Holy Temple COGIC in Reno, NV; May Memorial 3, Bishop COGIC; and Bobby May Allen, 4" Pastor Mother of Griffin Darlene Stone, Jurisdictional Supervisor, Indiana First Jurisdiction. This year’s theme is, “Holy Women Committed to Repair the Breach and Reap the Blessings” [Isaiah 58:1, 12-14]. They will also open the Convention with a Gospel Explosion Musical on Tuesday, May 1”, at 7:30 p.m. and a banquet will be held on Saturday, May 5”, 12:30 p.m., at Corbin’s Restaurant in Layton in honor of Mother Carolyn Smith, Jurisdictional Supervisor of the Department of Women.
