Show eo As. | Wh , Winnings ea Mr. Oberhansley and the students in vocational agriculture this has been a most successful year. At the State Fair our stock judging team—Clyde McFarland, Allen Taylor, and Ambrose McFarland—won | first place and the right to represent Utah at the Kansas City American Royal Livestock Show. Because of injuries received in an accident, Ambrose was unable to make the trip and was replaced by Clyde Stewart. At that show the team made excellent ratings. Kiwanis Club prizes for best projects were won by Albert Clyde McFarland, Max Ritter, Leslie Robinson, Lewis Peterson, Gibson, Dewey Favero, Blaine Farr, and Alonzo Hadley. Hunt, al Jay WH TH The Union Pacific Scholarship was awarded Jay Gibson, with Allan Taylor alternate. The Weber students of vocational agriculture have the distinction of receiving more state medals than were won by any other school in Utah. Medals were won as follows:: Max Ritter, first in dairying; Clyde Stewart, second in dairying; Edward Bingham, third in potatoes; Leshe Robinson, second in orcharding; Clyde McFarland, first in poultry.
