Bank Co., Bldg.e, Browning: You will recall we furnished some information for Mre Charles T. Haven regarding Browning Machine Guns and Pistols. At the time I sent this information on to Mr. Haven I told him that any further information he might require would be gladly furnishede which I am now in receipt of a letter of thanks from he requires additional information as follows: him in "I would appreciate it if you have the actual dates of development and adoption by European armies of the two Browning 9 mm. long military pistols as manufactured by the F.Ne Company. These dates do not appear in the booklet and I should like to include them if they are available. It is stated in the booklet that the latest model pistol was developed for the Fresh, but subse=questly adopted by the Belgians. It is my impression that the earlier model 9 mm. military pistol was also used by the Belgians, but I should be interested to know if it was used officially by any other country and if so, what the dates of adoption were." As I remember it, all this information was furnished you and Mr. Val, and if you wish me to pass the information to Mre Haven I will be glad to do so. booklet thought Mr. Haven has sent us several copies of the enclosed on the 1944 Model Johnson Light Machine Gun which I you might be interested in. With best regards, Sincerely, as DBE: MMO PLEASE ADDRESS ALL CORRESPONDENCE TO THE COMPANY, ST. LOUIS,MO. 1805 1855 1859 by on MGR. MGR. |
