The Journalism Staff is a group of hard-working students whose job it is to publish the school paper, ‘““The Warrior News.”’ The students are involved in many different aspects of the paper including researching and writing articles, art, photography, and layout and design of pages. The student editors for the 1984-85 school year were: Kim Murray, Editor in Chief; Dawnelle Everts, Activities Editor; Rhonda LaBrada, Features Editor; Luci Berardi, News Editor; Richard Oliver, Art Editor; and Veronica Lindquist, Business Manager. The editors are in charge of deciding what to publish in each issue as well as proof reading stories and assigning articles to reporters. The reporters included: Stephanie Ure, Stacey Charlesworth, Sheri Murray, Jennifer DeBoer, Stacey Conley, Lisa Mutsaers, Jolene Thompson, Brett Blood, Teresa Ellis, Monique Lanier, Leisa Charlton, Susan Butters, Sean Stakebake, and Bryan Tracy. The reporters talk to teachers, students, administrators, coaches and counselors, and then write articles in a form that is both interesting and informative to parents and students. All this would not be possible without the Staff Advisor, Mrs. Stettler. She instructs the students in the many forms of writing, layout techniques, and makes the necessary arrangements with the Box Elder News and Journal.
