Show O’ faithful servant! Grant me a valiant maiden. DATING It was a warm ¢ DATING summer's evening, the kind you dream about during the long cold months of winter. Jason’s (all names have been changed) shimmering, sky blue Honda Accord led Amy and Erin down I-15 toward Salt Lake City. Suddenly, perfectly ordinary places they had stared at all their lives were slightly altered and intensified while Amy and Erin sat on the large cement chunks along the freeway, waiting for their mechanically inclined dates to change the flat tire. After putting on the small, doughnut like tire, they headed back to Ja- son’s home to get another vehicle. Scott’s bright orange truck was the only vehicle they had. Scott’s keys were locked safely in Jason’s house so they spent well over 30 wasted min- DATING utes breaking in. The Lazer Show that they had intended to see had already begun, so they had to settle for a Bar-Bat Cemetery Point. They had no food with them so they had to settle for a quick trip to Albertson’s. Although it was summer, a chilly breeze still came through. They met a young couple who were trying to have a romantic evening alone, and begged them for the use of their fire. Jason tried his best to be a chef but the hamburgers kept slipping through the bars on the grill. Erin and Amy ate the buns while Scott and Jason pretended to enjoy the charred and sandy burgers. The police finally found them after a two hour wait. The ride home was more breath taking than the ride up. No one dared say a wor abou even abou wher safel |
