Show PAGE 22 WEBER ACADEMY D represents about 65 percent. (condition.) "Inc" represents "incomplete." E represents failure. A mark of "D" designates work of inferior quality. At the discretion of the teacher a pupil having such a grade may be required to remove it (1) by improving the quality of his subsequent work (2) by doing an additional amount of work, or by both. A mark of "Inc" designates work insufficient in amount. The teacher may require the pupil to remove it by doing make-up work. Marks of "D" and "Inc" for any month should be removed during the next month; semester marks of "D" and "Inc" during the next semester. Subsequent grades may be withheld by the teacher until such "D" and "Inc" marks are removed. Semester marks of "D" and "Inc" not removed during the time here specified shall be counted as equivalent to "E." A monthly mark of "E" may be removed by repeating as much work as the teacher may designate. A semester mark "E" cannot be removed. A unit represents a year's study in any subject reciting five times a week throughout the year. Two laboratory periods are counted as one recitation period. Credit for one semester only in a subject that continues throughout the year cannot be counted toward graduation. Credit for one year only in a foreign language cannot be counted toward graduation. The recitation periods are forty-five minutes in length. WEBER ACADEMY PAGE 23 Courses of Study.
