Travers 296 Via La Paz Greenbrae, California 94904 Nov. 9, 1976 Dear Ed- I mailed my proxy for the merger today, but not without some mixed emotions, which I presume you might also have experienced. Your long record of success in bringing Utah to its present stature makes it very hard to vote to terminate its image, identity and complete independence. However, I think I do understand your reasons and the end result is at least as logical as the many other steps taken over the years to build Utah to a great organization. I look back with many fond and exciting memories, only once in a while wishing that I could have made a greater contribution and impact on our achievements.
