Show back to Ogden. Mildred had music lessons so we got Allan and came to Ogden. Allan and I had supper at the Ben Lomond, then he took his cornet lesson, after which we saw "Quo Vadis" at the Orpheum Theater, met Mildred at the Ben Lomond and went home. Feb. 8, 1954, Mildred and Allan played for a dance at night, so I went to the show with Delmar and Laurel, then we had pie and a drink and they took me to Mildreds. Feb. 9, 1954, came home on the bus, got off at Curts, had supper and show. Feb. 10, 1954, went to Ogden with Ross and Genevieve, Kaye and Karen. Shopped for sheets, towels and pillow cases, and had more money when I got home than when I went shopping. Delmar gave me a $20.00 green back when I was at the bus station, my brothers gave me $30 while I was waiting for Ross and then Ross gave me another $25.00. Curt and Thelma ready to go to the Tuellers in Nebraska, Pauline and Eloise on their way to Kathryns in Seattle, Delmar in his cabin in West Yellowstone, Bernie at his Saturday night dance, Ross away on a big fishing trip, Mildred, Jake and Allan up Ogden picnicking and fishing, Shirley and Eulene at a Welfare supper Samoan Feast, Larry with the ham operators at Glacier Lakes in California, Feb. 11, 1954. A FEW DAYS OF SPORTING Went to Ogden with Ross and got material for a quilt. Went to Salt Lake City with Forde and Elma. Went to Summit County and a picnic with Curt and Thelma. Went to a Reliet Society quilting and had a fine dinner at the Church. Went to Ogden with Mildred and after Allan took his cornet lesson, he and I saw "The Knights of the Round Table" and had supper at Crane's Cafe, then met Mildred at the Ben Lomond and went home with her. Mildred brought me to the bus station and I came home. TWO WEEKS OF FUN, AUGUST, 1954 Aug. 15, Simmons reunion; Aug. 16, with Jack and Margie to Evanston; Aug. 17, with Jack to Salt Lake City; Aug. 18, picnic —20— * fr at Lorrin Farr Park, Ogden; Aug. 19, Old Folks Party, Morgan; Aug. 20, to Mildred's orchestra dance, Ogden; Aug. 21, supper on the Utah Hotel Roof Garden (melon after); Aug. 22, Jack the speaker at Richville Ward; Aug. 23, Curtis and Margie and Jack to supper at our place in Richville; Aug. 24, Carolyn's birthday party up Hardscrabble, Porterville; Aug. 25, Mildred and Allan and Curts at Como, picture show at night; Aug. 26, getting ready for the fair; Aug. 27 and 28, celebrating at the County Fair, Morgan, Utah. SHIRLEY'S ONE WEEK VISIT—OCTOBER 1955 Saturday, Oct 1, Shirley and Eulene came to Utah with their Bishop. Mildred, Shirley, Eulene and I had dinner at Crane's Cafe in Ogden, then Jake and Mildred brought us home. Sunday, Oct. 2, Watched Conference news on the radio and Curt and Thelma came up and visited with us. Monday, Oct. 3, Shirley drove Thelma and me and Eulene to Ogden to shop. Called Miss Purla up and the four of us had dinner at the Canton. Came home and went to the picture show. Tuesday, Oct. 4, Curt and Thelma had us to their place to dinner and then Shirley took us all over the county riding and then again to the picture show. Wednesday, Oct. 5, Curt and Thelma had dinner at our place and then we rode all over and took Curt home. Thursday, Oct. 6, Had a grand dinner at Mildreds. Shopped and went to the Orpheum—"We're No Angels." Friday, Oct. 7, all had dinner together and Curt took us to Salt Lake at night and Shirley left on the 10:15 Zephyr for home.
