Over the next 30 years, UCC continued to work on projects in Mexico including dams, roads, mining, and canals. Show EXHIBIT E 3 of 3 EXPLANATION OF THE DETERMINATION OF WITHHELD TAXES 1. Four monthly withholdings of US$168.17 each, determined by applying the rates of Exhibit C (see point 37 of this memorandum). 2. Amount withheld by the employer, applying the rates of Exhibit C. 3. Amount withheld by the employer in accordance with the special formula, applying the rates of Exhibit B (see point 37). 4. Eight monthly withholdings of US$230.57 each, made by the employer applying the rates of Exhibit C (see point 37). 5. Amount withheld by the employer by adding to the monthly salary (US$1,140.00) the Christmas bonus (US$960.00), calculating the tax of Exhibit C on the total and deducting the tax relating to the monthly salary. 6. Cancellation of tax stamps of 4% on the amount received (see point 43). 7. Cancellation of tax stamps of 10% of the total income (see point 45). 8. Exempt income (see point 44, c-5). 9. Amount withheld by the issuer of the bonds at the rate of 2%> (see point 44, c-2). 10. Amount withheld by the company making the dividend payment, at the rate of 15% (see point 44, a-l). 11. Cancellation of tax stamps of 0.75% on 70% of the income (see point 44, f). 12. Cancellation of tax stamps of 5% on 70% of the income (see point 44, f). 13.
