Show Ribbons and BEAUX Carol Farnsworth Photo by Rex Brunker THINKING By AUDRI MONTGOMERY I sit thinking about how work went today: Kind of long, but in a way I'm glad that I had work to do It felt so good when I got through . I sit thinking about last weekend's date: He was only one hour late; Love his kisses sweet, and yet I'd better love them they're the last I'll get. I sit thinking about my mom: Scolds me lots . . . don't know how come; Guess she thinks I need to change; Never thought about that how strange. I sit thinking about college: Going for fun, I won't get much knowledge; I'll join a club, have lots of beaus That reminds me, I've got to have more clothes. I sit thinking about seasons: Hot or cold, there must be reasons; Summer, winter, spring, or fall . . . I don't mind I like them all. I sit thinking about human beings: Funny unpredictable things . . . Male or female, rich or poor, They love each other but still there's war. I sit thinking about life: Why a man must have a wife, Why it's night or why it's day Life goes on and on this way. I sit thinking about thoughts: I love to think about things real lots .... Crazy me . . . which makes me blink Funny thing that I can think! Twelve Shirley Francis PENSIVE Photo by Rex Brunker |
