Show OWATC Black History Month Celebration The Ogden Weber Applied Technology College will celebrate Black History Month on Thursday, February 9", 6:00 8:00 p.m., in their Multipurpose Facility. There will be a variety of entertainment, delicious samples of free authentic soul and other foods, along with booths and various displays promoting the occasion. Our Children of the King Praise Dancers will also be performing For more information, you may call Mr Mac McCullough at (801) 627-8317 Embry Chapel Black History Month Observance Embry Chapel AME Church will host their Black History Month Observance with a service on Saturday, February 11", at 3:00 p.m. The service will feature the history of the AME Church which is one of the oldest Black churches in America. The Salt Lake City Mass and Trinity AME Church Choirs will share ministry in song Attendees are welcome to wear African attire. Please call the church at (801) 394-2338 for more information. Hill AFB Gospel Extravaganza The Hill AFB Black History Committee has invited New Zion to join them in the observance of Black History Month by attending their Annual Gospel Extravaganza to be held on Friday, February 24", 6:00 p.m., at Second Baptist Church. Their observance theme is, “When Praises Go Up” [Psalms 121:1-2]. They have also invited our church choir, along with other community _choirs/groups, to render two musical selections as well.
