Show Wildcats Open Cage Season With Boise Weber Wildcats Look like Team to Beat in Junior College Cage Play The nin team Intermountain collegiate athletic conference today seems already to have picked its finalists in the two divisions of the reave for loop honors in basketball. In the Northern division, after Weber Junior college of Ogden racked up a pair of drubbings over Boise Junior college, 85-47 and 73-46, the Wildcats from Ogden appeared to be the only five that may hold a candle to the powerful Ricks College Vikings from Rexburg, Ida. Both crews hold perfect records. Boise has won to and lost two and Southern Idaho College of Education at Albion has a doleful four-loss record. Branch Agricultural college of Cedar City and Snow Junior college of Ephraim hold the spotlight in the five team Southern division of the I.C.A.C. B.A.C. has won its five conference starts and Snow has a perfect recors in three starts. Carbon junior college of Price one of the powerhouses last year has yet to gain its right combination. They have won four and lost two. Dixie college of St. George and Westminster of Salt Lake City bring up the rear echelon. Teams from Southern Idaho College of Education and Boise Junior college will tangle in the first game leading to the 1951 basketball championship. Southern Idaho and Boise will play Dec. 18 and 19 in Boise. The game will open hoop competition in the Northern division of the nine team league. Play in the Southern dvision will begin Dec. 28 and 29 with Wesminster tangling with Carbon college in Price. Teams in both divisions will play four games with each other team in the division. Then the division winners will tangle for the conference championship, now held by Weber college. Wildcats Score 91 Points Against Albion ALBION, Idaho, Jan 20 (Special) Weber college hoopsters gave a dazzling performance here last nght in the first of two a game series with Southern Idaho College of Education. The Weberites after leading 40 to 33 at halftime left the court on the long end of a 91 to 57 score in a free scoring headliner. Bob Harberstion again paced the Weberites. he collectied eleven field goals and three free throws for a total of 25 points.
