Show (12), Yosette Pryor 12), Brayden Johnsom(12), and Emma Holingren (12). "The story line of the play kind of follows the lives of a couple main characters, one being Jamie Lockhart, also called the Bandit of the Woods. He kind of has multiple personality disorder, and he falls in love with the daughter of a rich planter, Clement Musgrove, named Rosamund. The wicked step mother, Salome, is constantly trying to get rid of Rosamund while also hit on Jamie Lockhart. The rich planter is completely and totally oblivious to what is happening. Eventually Rosemund and Jamie end up falling for each other, although they don't know who each other really are; it's kind of a Romeo and Juliet senaro where they are falling Sor apr ae eae in love but don't really know who they are falling in love with. I think the play went really well, it was a fun show and I think everyone enjoyed it, we drew in decent sized crowds and ticket sells were good. It was just a lot of fun to preform in, My favorite part is preforming for the elementary <# 2 Lexie Lafeber (11) and Garret Potokar ee. ; 4 ; aM : ey j ‘ii } : oat - te schools and junior highs because they are unlike | | gi «=e any other audience that we will ever have, compared > ete = eee — groups tend to laugh at different things. 1 was even able to talk to the little kida after our junior ' ; - ' high and e;ementary showings and they are just fun to talk to and are fun to be around and have a unique perspective on the show. As for recomending theator to other students, I absolutely would, 110%. Theator gave me a home, gave me a family, gave me a friend group that it didn't seem to matter where I was at in life, we could relate to one another. We grow so tight nit when we spend so many hours with together with the same people. Absolutley, even if you have a slight thought of joining theatorI would say 110% to join, just give it a shot and you might find that you love it.” -Julie Kirkham (12) |
