Show 18 WEBER ACADEMY To stimulate interest and to encourage school spirit, the Academy has joined the basket ball league formed among the high schools of the state. Dramatics.In the spring of each year a play is presented by students of the Academy, who win positions in the cast through a try-out system. This activity is supplementary to the work in the English department. Interesting trips are taken to adjoining towns. Lecture Course. The lecture course of the Academy is now far beyond the experimental stage, having passed through its ninth successful year. From a very modest beginning it has grown to be the foremost lecture course of the west. The very best talent has been secured every season.
