This activity is sponsored through the American Legion posts in the Weber County area. The purpose is to develop a better understanding in the principles and ideals of American government. Listening to lectures cities and after participating battles and in campaigns, playing midnight naming poker games, living in dorms and escaping for secret meet- ings with girls are all a part of the memorable happenings at Boys State. 191
