From the 1870s to World War II, Ogden was a major railroad town, with nine rail systems. Biographical/Historical Note The following is a video clip from an oral history interview with Audrey Collman. "We want things that make people happy. If it's all medical, you know, that doesn't always work. You have to think for yourselves, you have good minds. Women are very brilliant people, women. All of them, and they've all been through lots of challenges, but they've all learned a lot more by having these challenges. I teach them to have good goals, not only to get in shape, but I teach them to get educated. It's time for all women to do what they have to do to be educated. If you live in the library you're self-taught, you see what I'm saying?"
