Show January Mr. James P. 1944 Hume, %Z Wilkinson, First Dear 6, Huxley, Byron & Knight, National Bank Building, Chicago, Illinois. Jim: Your interesting letter ember jist, is hereby acknowledged appreciuted. written and its in longhand, contents are dated Decsincerely | The credit for giving you the gun, of course, rightfully belongs to the Messrs. Browning, as they are the only ones who have authority to do a thing of this kind. Whether or not a suggestion was made to them is beside the point. We too were wondering if we could not initiate the proceedings while there are men in St. Louis who are familiar with our case but, of course, that is not feasible until we are ready and it does not appear now that we can possibly get our figures together for a conference before possibly February 15th. It was my understanding from Major Thielecke and Mr. Williams that we would again be assigned to |
