Show The Golden Spike he people realize the effort and patience necessary, on the part of all people ~ concerned, to publish a school annual, Suffice it to say in the preperation f this edition of the Golden Spike, it was necessary for a certain people to assume the responsibility for various parts of the book. They performed their duties with a cheerful, sincere ever helpful appreciation Our very, attitude. For this work we wish to extend our most Folkman, who to: capable, ambitious advisor and friend, Ruth has spent unlimited time and earnest labor in making our dreams, realizations; Mary Deru, associate editor, for her contributions in every form to al! parts of the book; “Rudy” Van Kampen for snaps and athletic reports; Marian Bingham and Eldon Rawson for their help on classes and athletics; Anna Brown, who submitted the society report and helped with other parts of the book; Bob Jones and Leona Ellis, for work on dramatic organization reports; Fawn McKay, whose poetic ability made possible the writing of several poems printed in the book: Woodruff Deem and Norene Bingham, “composers” of our humer section; Cragan, our typist. The entire staff was from Mr. Wahlquist and Mr. Adams. aided by suggestions and Kathryn contributions While these people were primarily responsible for editing the book, there is another group which made its publishing possible. This group consists of the entire student body which contributed a good deal of money through the student body fund; Allene Orton, Gay Wangsgard, and Woodruff Deem, business managers, through fare, and who, with the assistance soliciting patronage; Ogden business of their County firms, who advisor, Mr. Murphy, individuals interested contributed to the secured funds in our school’s wel- year book fund; The Chimes Press and the Paragon Printing Company who cooperated with us in printing and publishing the book. For all our photography work which, indeed, comprises a major part of the book we are indebted to Mr. Rabe, who worked diligently on all group and individual pictures.
