Show Charmed Life Cats Edge Snow, Tromp Dinosaurs Weber College continued to lead a charmed life last Saturday as they squeezed past the Snow College Badgers, 74 to 73. The victory pushed the Wildcats into a tie for first place with Ricks. Both teams have an 8-2 record. The Swensmen had little trouble with Carbon the night before as they drubbed them, 69 to 50. Bob Subic hit the hoop for 30 counters to take scoring honors for the evening. Two weeks ago the Cats took a weekend series from Dixie and CSU. Weber got past CSU 76 to 67 and Dixie 85 to 59. Plagued by Injuries Coach Swenson has had a bad time this year, especially with injuries to his forwards. During the trip to Kansas, Roy Hassel had a wrist injury, and in the Weber-CSU game Curt VanAlfen had so much trouble with broken arches that he had to keep off the hardwoods. His injury was a recurrence of one in high school. Subic Leads in Scoring As of last week's games, individual statistics show Bob Subic to be the leading scorer on the Wildcat squad. Don Nish is second in the individual standings. ICAC Standings Team Won Lost Pet.
