Show That Old Man River1 Have you got your house sandbagged? Dug out the old Canoe? Put your valuable in the attic? Packed a suitcase and some food and began to think about higher ground? According to the papers and the scenes found along the rivers and Ogden canyon, you have cause to be worried. Warm weather that we so eagerly prayed for is here, but it's coming, too fast. Therefore, floods. Sightseers are urged to stay away from the canyons. Besides being in the way, it is also dangerous. The water is washing out the road! All we can say is "Take swimming lessons, prepare for the worst, and hope for the best. |
