Show Royalty Highlights Fireman's Ball Left, when the ancient fire extinguisher was placed outside of Building 3, students knew that both a fireman and a flame would have to be on hand in order for it to have any value. Above, selection of Mr. Fireman and Miss Flame, Ed Graves and Ann Wideman, highlighted the annual AMS Fireman's Ball. Right, the fireman is given his helmet. Facing page, midst a sea of balloons, the Three Jacks and a Queen presented the floorshow. Kay Waldron, a music major, took first place in U.S.U.'s annual Intercollegiate Talent Show, with participants from western states colleges and universities. Kay and her organ were selected from twen-ty-one contestants earlier this year to represent Weber. Waldron Wins Intercollegiate Talent Contest |
