Mrs. Shurtliff-"I wish these three tiers of seats would go to the board." Vina-"If we eat all of this lunch I'll eat my hat." Viola-"Well, I won't have room for a hat when I get through." Bob Jones (in chemistry)-"Dr. Bind is corrosive sublimate used to kill bed bugs?" McKay (in class)-"How did they look?" Vern B.-"They had their heads shaved oft'." Morgan (talking of basket ball)-"Some day I will be a star." Violet-"Do you remember that song, 'If a Star Should Wed a Flower?' " Bind (in physics)-"Brother Barlow, will you please explain your connections?" Note-Can Cora answer it ? Wilford-"A storage battery is made up of a lead plate full of porous holes." Mrs. Cowles (in English)-"What are the three stages of a man's life?" Eph.-"Birth, marriage and death." Bind-"How would you get chemically pure silver out of a dime?" Dave-"Go and buy it." Dr. Lind-"Give me an example of a speaking gallery." Wilford-"A woman." Listen! may is the month of bud and promise. you need not make promises when you have the goods then you can make good Bloom out in Merry new clothes for Merry May time.
