Show FROM Dear THE CHAIRPERSON Members: What does loyalty mean to me? The writer Paul says in Philippians, “Brothers, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has calledme heavenward in Christ Jesus." Phil. 3:13-14. With this keep on growing. Becoming a christian was only the beginning a wonderful new life for me. God did not take me to of heaven thought the moment in mind, I became I realize a christian that I must at St. Mary Baptist Church 46 years ago in Tyler, Texas. He had a purpose for me. Salvation - in its highest sense - is the process of becoming who one reallyis in the sight of God. Therefore I must obey God moment by moment. Paul's letter to the Colossians, Chapter 3:12-13 says: "Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each other and forgive whatever greivance you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you." And so my fellow grow together on the me, sisters and brothers in this christian journey, simple yet profound words of Jesus: you will obey what I command".
