Show READING RESPONSIVE Faithfulness Matt. 24:45-47; Luke 16:10-13: Rev. 2:10; 1 Cor. 1557-58 Who then is a faithful servant, whom his lord and wise hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season? Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so do- ing. Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods. He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if ye have not been in that which is another faithful man’s, who shall give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon. Fear thou none shalt of those suffer: shall cast some things which behold, the devil of you into prison, that ye may be tried; be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life. Thanks be to God which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. |
