English Earthly Life: February 15,1953 Eternal Life: January 22, 2019 We, the New Zion Baptist Church Congregation, join in this Christian farewell of our Brother in Christ, Deacon Wilson L. English, who answered the call from his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on January 22, 2019. He was a loving father, grandfather and a friend to many brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus. WHERE AS, Deacon Wilson L. English was a loving man of God; whose completed his journey among us and answered the Lord’s call. He was a faithful member of the New Zion Baptist church for over 20 years. With great love and compass ion, he served in humerous ministers and auxiliaries. He thoroughly enjoyed the duties as Adult Sunday School Teacher, Church General Treasurer, Van Driver and Laymen President. As Laymen President, he cheerfully escorted many young men to the Interm ountain General Baptist Convention and Walter Cade Jr. Far West Regional Workshop to participate in Bible Bowls and Oratorical competitions. Furthermore, Deacon English was a key lead singer and supporter of the Men’s Choir and Sounds of Praise Mass Choir. Moreover, Deacon English volunteered countless hours tutoring local student s in the community how to perfect their mathematics’ skills. Finally, he was a mainst ay in the culinary ministry; Deacon English donated countless ‘Pound Cakes’ for repasse s, church anniversaries and birthday celebrations. Brother E nglish was extremely faithful in all he did for God and his people until the end of his life here on earth. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, We thank God for his life among us, and we do bow in humble submission to the will of God. It is our humble prayer the family will endear the many memories you shared and know that God knows where the hurt is the deepest and he is always there. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, a copy of this and other proclamations will be provided to the family and copies placed in the archives of the New Zion Baptist Church. To the family, we know your loss is deep, and your sorrow we recognize that this loss is Heaven’s Gain. Is great, but more importantly, /n the matchless Name of Jesus Christ ~ Sis.
