O. Box 1802 — 2424 “EL” Avenue Ogden, Utah 84401 Dear Bishop Allen and Congregation, Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I’m writing to inform you of our upcoming Annual Fall Revival and 46% Loyalty Day Celebration and extend an invitation to you and your congregation to join with us in our celebration services. We have prayerfully selected the celebration theme of, “A Church Pressing Toward the Mark” with a scripture text of Philippians 3:12-15. Our revival service dates are Wednesday, October 20, 2004 through Friday, October 22, 2004 with services beginning at 7:00 p.m. nightly. Our Loyalty Day service will be held on Sunday, October 24, 2004 at 3:30 p.m. Our featured revivalist and guest speaker will be Reverend Michael Ross, Pastor of St. Paul Baptist Church, in Boise, Idaho. We are so blessed by God to be able to take this time to honor our founding members who have long labored to establish the solid foundation on which we continue to build to this day. Our celebration chairpersons, Brother David and Sister Betty Smauldon, along with their co-chairpersons, Brother James and Sister Roberta Dixon, have taken the lead in planning this event harmoniously with our church family to reverence and thank the Lord for all He has done for and through us. Your joyful attendance would be another means by which we will be able to experience His manifold blessings upon us as we celebrate this historic annual church event. Friday night, October 22, 2004, is Youth night and we would like to extend an invitation to your Youth or Adult Choir to render two (A & B) musical selections on this night. For planning purposes, we ask that you RSVP to this invitation no later than Thursday, October 14, at the above church office telephone number. We look forward to your joining us in praise, worship and fellowship.
