Show WEBER SEMINARY STUDENT COUNCIL Evelene Holmes, Cleone Campbell, Ross Thompson, Marillyn Ritchie, Zelma Johns. Ethalyn Dickson, Jay Heslop, Beth Rhees, Bill Geertsen, Ruth Johnston, Blaine Kendall, Dorothy Garner, La Moyne Hislop. 1+ has been the desire of the Seminary Council this year to successfully complete many projects and sponsor our different activities satisfactorily. Our officers were President Ross Thompson, Vice-President Marillyn Ritchie, and Secretary Cleone Campbell and our advisers were Principal Eyre and Instructor Van Alten. With the cooperation of the entire Seminary we feel this year has been an exceptionally fruitful one. The first feature of the year was a roller skating party for the entire Seminary. Our building was dedicated this year by President Heber J. Grant inconnection with the Youth Assembly at the tabern; : acle at which he spoke. We had the privilege of presenting an assembly to the high school student body, the theme being | "In the Realm of the Best'’. The various activities and the purpose of our Seminary were presented in the novel form of a panel discussion. The annual trip to Salt Lake City was taken by the graduating class. The Commencement exercises in which the entire seminary participated were the final climax of the year.’ Diplomas were presented to the graduating class and a Commencement Ball honoring the graduates followed the exercises.
