This is quite a shopping center, with on specialty shop after another. Dresses, jewelry, men’s wear (a lot of them) linens, lamps, hand bags galore, etc. We have bought nothing but our Elizabeth book, which we began to read on the boat. We crossed over to the famous Tuilleries Garden and found it to be a large children’s play ground. mostly. I find it would have been rediculous for me to bring a walking stick. Both here and on the Boat I do remarkably well with Nan’s vigilance and support. |
