Hammond of November 7, 1962 On November 7, 1962, the writer wrote a memo to P. R. Hammond concerning the state of historical records. In this memo it was suggested that a central source or history should be compiled, and also that it be indexed. During the past year the writer has undertaken this project. The work will be continuous through the fiscal year 1963 and will be broken down as follows: Part I - A Chronological history by year Part II - A Job listing by year Part III - An Architect - Engineer listing Part IV - A Management Consulting listing Part V- An Alphabetical listing of Record Storage Part VI - A Photograph listing Part VII- The Index Sources for compilation of this work were as follows: 1) The old brochure and the ones before it. 2) The tabulated sheets on ozalid which we currently have, that were provided by such people as Ben Lusk, Ed Peterson, Orman Strange and Bill Foulger. 3) Old prequalifications 4) "What material we had available in the files - ( newspaper articles and etc .) 5} Quarterly Reports The purpose for writing this memo is to familiarize the reader with the work accomplished, so that if it is not completed, someday it might be.
