While it is recognized that no company can rest on its past laurels, when a company has a heritage as rich as Utah's, it is certainly something of which employees should at least be cognizant. The key to the whole project will be the indexing of the facta listed in the other six parts of the book. The book being a fast ready source for quickly finding the historical information desired. Before the first six parts can be indexed, obviously, they will have to be typed, so that the page numbers are finalized. This whole project, at this writing, is now being typed. When it is completed, the indexing can begin. All this work has been written out in long hand and is contained in six three-ringed notebooks. They break down as follows: Volume I - 1860 through 1949 (Chron. history) Volume II - 1950 through 1954 (Chron. history) Volume III - 1955 through 1959 (Chron. history) Volume IV - i960 through present (Chron. history) Volume V - Part II - A listing by type project Part III - An Architect - Engineer listing Part IV - A Consulting Management lis ting Part V - Alphabetical Record Storage listing Part VI - A Photograph listing Volume VI - Part VII- The Index At this writing the following sections of the whole have been typed: 1) Volume I - (Complete - still needs corrections) 2) Volume II - (Thru 1951 - still needs corrections) 3) Part III of Volume V - (Was complete before) 4) Part IV of Volume V - (Was complete before) 5) part V of Volume V - (Is complete and correct)
