Show The Earth Changers A very good book entitled, "The Earth Changers" was published in 1957. This book, written by Messrs. Neill C. Wilson and Frank J. Taylor, is a graphic account of the origin and growth of the western construction companies (including Utah) that participated in the construction of "Hoover" Boulder Dam. This book is available in the Utah Construction & Mining Co. library. Salt Lake Office In 1957, the greater part of the Salt Lake Office was transferred to San Francisco. After the move, virtually all the bidding concerning domestic work, and nearly all the overseas work, excluding Australia, has been done out of the San Francisco Office. Some of the more important key Utah personnel affected and transferred by the move were: William Pollin, J. F. McCreight and Jack Hale. |
