Cost of the contract was $375,309. 20 - Land Reclamation and Dredging in Pittsburg, California, for the Ethyl Corporation in the amount of $346,150. 21 - Reservoir Reclamation Involved the rehabilitation of a 50 million gallon reservoir for the Naval Ammunition Depot at Hawthorne, Nevada. The owner was the Department of the Navy, Bureau of Yards and Docks. (Due to misleading information, this project is carried here. It was actually done in 1955). 22- Okinawa Air Force Housing A joint venture between Utah, Paccon, Inc. and Fisher Construction Company. Involved the construction of 730 housing units. Utah has 33-1/3 % of this project and the work amounted to $9, 086, 000. 23 - Naval Auxiliary Air Station An Auxiliary Air Station in Fallon, Nevada, for the U. S. Navy. Work was done under a joint venture of C. H. Leavell & Company, 60% and Utah, 40%. The amount of the contract is $3,651,000 and it was completed in May of 1957. 24 - Atomic Energy Commission - New Production Facility A new production facility for the A. E. C. in St. Louis, Missouri, Work was done under a joint venture of Fruin-Colnon Contracting Company, 60%, and Utah, 40%. The amount of the contract was about $40, 000, 000 and the work was completed in about January of 1957. 25 - Bingham Canyon, Utah For several years a portion of Kennecott Copper Corporation's world-famous open pit mine at Bingham, Utah, was mined by Utah Construction and Mining Company as a complete, independent operation.
