Show Avon Valley Deviation Contract No. C3 COMPLETION DATE: ESTIMATED PROFIT: MOBILIZATION EXPENSE: METHOD OP PAYMENT: ADJUSTMENTS: DAMAGES: BONUS PROVISIONS: COST DATA: March 17, 1964 (63 weeks from Notice to Proceed) or as extended by extra and additional work or other special circumstances. £79,512 ($176,516) (Budget Estimate & Planned Profit Schedule forwarded January 8, 1963. Included in the Schedule of Rates are individual revenue items for: Move in equipment £17,710 ($89,318) Temporary buildings £4,077 ($9,051) Monthly progress payments (minimum of £25, 000) based on estimated quantity of work completed paid within 30 days of claim. 10% Retention held until amount of retention is £50,000 ($111,000), then-progress payment made at 100% value. One half retention held paid on substantial completion of works, remainder within 14 days of expiration of Maintenance Period. (12 months on structures, 3 months on earthworks). Escalation applicable for labour and certain nominated materials (cement, rebar, explosives). £1,000 per week for delays in completion beyond prescribed or extended date. \ £1,000 per week for early completion prior to prescribed or extended date. Contractor to maintain suitable records to enable Engineer to check escalation and Force Account claims. BONDS: Surety Bond to value of $100,000 ($222,000) required.
