Show Oeorge and Helen Thackeray. " George Thackeray was born in Yor£, Yorkshire, England April IB, 1836. He was the youngest member of a family of seven, and the only member who joined the church and came to this country. He was baptized Jan. 16, 1851 by .Slder Hougsen and two years later, emigrated to America. tie arrived in Utah Sept. 20, 1055.
