THEOLOGY Professor Jensen (To Ballantyne and Evans,) who were sitting way back in their seats.) "Sit up straight, boys, don't sit on your collar buttons." GERMAN I Professor Neal "Brother Reeder, did you look over your lesson last night." Herbert "No sir, I overlooked it." CHEMISTRY Professor Bailey "What does sodium do when placed in water?" Hancock "It fizzes." Because the new furnace was not completed, school was dismissed Thursday morning October 31st. In the afternoon the H. C. P. girls gave a dancing matinee. Nearly all the students were there trying to warm themselves up. We are sure each student thanks the H. C. P. girls for the good time shown them. The feature of the dance was Harold Johnson's trying to collect ten cents from each boy who came dressed up. PLACE H. C. P. ROOM Girls sitting and lounging around |
