This evening We recd the sad news of my brother Wills wifes death Mother will go to Salt Lake spent the forenoon at the charity head quarters Friday 17 This afternoon the officers & Board members of the Daughters of Pioneers met here to nominate a president. My name was voted by a two third vote. later made unanimous mother went to S.L. Saturday, Feb. 18, 1922 I went to Salt Lake this morning. To be with my brother Will & family Matties death is a sad blow to him. We all went out to Marks for dinner. Mother & I stayed at Oertels all night S.L.C. this AM Sunday 19 Mother and I stayed at Oertels all night. Attended the funeral of Martha Ann Cozzens my brother Wills wife who died the 16th of eclampsia leaving a boy baby. Funeral was held at the Waterloo chapel. Dr & Junior also attended Monday 20 Myrene is sick some better today. At the annual election of officers of Girl Scouts held at the home of Mrs Bertha Eccles Mrs Wade Johnson was elected First Com.
