The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show SAT. JULY 18, 1914. Went down to chautauque this AM to hear Miss McChinney she has been very good all week. Dr not feel very well. Called to see Lucile Mother & I came up to camp on the car. She came with Dr. SUNDAY 19. No one from here went to SS. Heeber Lucile and Mother here to dinner. Sam Rich was here for supper. Mother Avon Junior and I went down to Chautauque An Evening with the Stars by Baumguart very good. Sam & Mother stayed all night with us. A cool tonight. MON. JULY 20, 1914. Mother stayed all night we are sewing today. This is about the first day. I have spent in the canyon. Dr. quite buisy. TUESDAY 21. Went down home this AM Mother and I went shoping. Had washing done. Prepared dinner for Dr. Put up 20 qts of appricots which were given me by BP John Watson. Came up to camp late with Dr. A cool day raining some. |
