During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Pardoe have been lovely good women to work with & we have been upheld in every way by every member of the Daughters of the Pioneers and at the close of two years have added to our members over one hundred more, have collected 60 Biographys of living Pioneers and saved 700 newspaper clippings of pioneers & have them arranged in a scrapbook & by Rose Ballantyne & myself. Also have added to our treasury over $900.00. Purchased $100 worth of Literature for our Library. Gave a play the Daughter of a Pioneer cost over $500 to put on & netted over $100. Dance 1914, 500 people in attendance, cleared over $100. Dance 1915-1128 people present & cleared $216. Expenses $305 & over |
