The full social schedule of the leading men on campus included the Sweetheart Ball, Malefic, numerous rush parties, Acceptance Banquet, Dinner-dance and the Sophomore Farewell, as well as frequent parries with the leading women's clubs. Excelsior is always on top in school - sponsored activities throughout the year. The E-men have captured the intramurals for seven out of the past eight years. The annual Songfest was prize victory for this year. Excelsior has a definite meaning, "still higher, ever upward." As Weber College progresses into four-year status it will need plenty of help, and Excels will be Weber's number-one boost.
