Show Jeanne Christensen President Diana Bennett Carolyn Berrett Marilee Christensen Betty Lou Cole Marclare Carnahan Carol Jean Chugg Shirley Covington Treasurer The year 1961-62 is now behind us. Takai Kyoto social unit can look back, proud of her achievements. Participation was the key to many of T.K.s activities this year. Singing a medley of songs from around the world, T.K. won second place in the Annual Songfest. With Pinocchio and the Whale as its structure, the club left Snow Basin with the first place trophy in the snow sculpture contest. Talent Show, in which the girls characterized the emancipation of women, rounded out the year. The annual Oki Odori dance this year took on an underwater appearance for the "Black Pearl," with Jeanne Christensen and Val Brown reigning as Oki Odori royalty. Takai Kyoto, meaning lasting friendship, will long remain in the hearts of her members. Through her many activities, T.K. friendships for each other have grown and will continue to grow in the future years. Takai Kyoto won a whale of a victory at the Snow Carnival. T.
