Show Chambers and adits Rock excavation for chambers $357,000 Rock excavation for reservoirs 120,000 Rock bolts in roofs 45,000 Chain link fabric on roofs 7,000 Bolts supporting chain link fabric 3,000 Core borings 5,000 Care and handling seepage water 1,600 Unless otherwise provided in the specifications, partial payments will be made as the work progresses at the end of each calendar month, or as soon thereafter as practicable or at more frequent intervals as determined by the Contracting Officer. In preparing estimates the material delivered on the site and preparatory work dOne may be taken Into consideration. In case of failure on the part of Contractor to complete the work within the times fixed in the contract or any extension thereof, the Contractor shall pay the Government as liquidated damages the sums set out In schedule below (not listed here) for each calendar day of delay until the work is completed or accepted. (a) Payroll records will be maintained during the course of the work and preserved for a period of three years thereafter for all laborers and mechanics working at the site of the work. Such records will contain the name and address of each such employee, his correct classification, rate of pay, daily and weekly number of hour: worked, deductions made and actual wages paid. The tractor will make his employment records available for inspection by authorized representatives of the Contracting Officer and the U. S. Department of Labor, and will permit such representatives to interview employees during working hours on the job. (b) A certified copy of all payrolls will be submitted weekly to the Contracting Officer. The Government Prime Contractor will be responsible for the submission of certified copies of the payrolls of all subcontractors. The certification will affirm that the payrolls are correct and complete, that the wage rates contained therein are not less than the applicable rates contained in the wage determination decision of the Secretary of Labor attached to this contract, and that the classifications set forth for each laborer or mechanic conform with the work he performed. |
