Show Bio Of Rev. Michael J. Ross, Sr. Rev. Michael J. Ross, Sr. is a native of Lake Providence, La. He has been happily married for the last nineteen years and has four beautiful children, two girls and two boys. Of his ten years of experience in the gospel ministry, four was served in various capacities such as Associate Minister and Minister of Christian Education; and three years as the Youth and Young Adult Pastor of the Beth Eden Baptist Church in Oakland, CA. For the last three years of his ministerial career, he has been serving as the Pastor of the St. Paul Baptist Church in Boise. Rev. Ross served his country as a member of the Unites States Marine Reserves for a total of six years. His educational achievements includes graduating from Grambling State University located in Grambling, La with a B.S. in Criminal Justice in 1984. He also attended both Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Marin, CA and American Baptist Seminary of the West in Berkeley, where he earned a Master of Divinity in 1999. At his convocation, he was awarded the prestigious L. Doward McBain Preaching Prize for the outstanding Preacher in his graduating class.
