To put these words into action was the chiet motive that led to the organization of the Pep Club. The principal task of the club was to instill pep and enthusiasm into the members of the school and thereby create a greater school spirit to cheer our boys on to victory. The Pep Club is composed of forty active members chosen by the Senior girls. They were guided through a very successful and enjoyable year under the capable leadership of Lucille Hadley, President; Beth Frew, Vice-President; Bernice Boeslund, Secretary and Treas.; and our advisers, Miss Mackay and Mr. Van Alfen, who took over the vacancy created by Mr. Stratford's departure. 82
