Neil Hess takes off on a Weber yell. 22 Watching and waiting. Wildcat pigskin mentors Clair Anderson, Milt Mecham, and Jim Foulger watch their boys roll to victory. Henry Gramberg, co-captain of the football team, is also outstanding in swimming. "I suppose he could break every junior college swimming record that we have," commented Coach Mecham. Ray Rhead is the other Weber co-captain and is respected by the team for his fine leadership on the field. Vance Bitton is an able halfback with a phobia for catching passes. Vance also has a great liking for table tennis. Jimmy Miyasato is known for his pitching of the pigskin so that it connects with speed and accuracy. Although James is a quiet fellow, he is all hustle and fire on the gridiron. 23 |
