Show New Automobile Charles Delvaux Val Browning A. (Liege) April 20, 1960 Thanks for your memo of April 13th with enclosures. I notice that they have certain models of Flymouth automobiles available and also that they are willing to allow a discount of 15% on the price of a new automobile. Since this letter from the Fragnee-Auto S. A. is addressed to Fabrique Nationale d'Armes de Guerre, I suppose that they will allow the same discount if the car is for me. If there is any question, we could probably buy it through FN. I do not yet know when I will arrive in Belgium, but when I get there I shail want a Fury 8, preferably 4-door (but 2-door would be acceptable) hard top Torque Flight, power steering, power brakes, with e‘ther Colden Commando motor or Fury V-800, with "Super-Pak". As for color, I would want either oyster white top with jet black body or some shade of eray which woud not be too conspicuous. The last "Bluebird" which I had over there was a bit too colorful for my sober tastes. I can send you a cable when I know the date of my arrival, which may not be until the end of August, in which event you can see if any such car as described above is available and if not, how long it would take Bruce should will use the we will sell to order it for me. get to Belgium some time in Oldsmobile as long as he is the Oldsmobile for the best the month of May and there, after w hich price we can get for it: Regards, |
