During that time she documented her personal life and the medical practice of Edward, the community of Ogden and national events such as the outbreaks of WWI and WWII. The diaries also include newspaper and magazine clippings, memorabilia and pins. |

Show MEMORANDA Mar 21. A terriable tornado swept over southeren Illinois. Murphys suffered the greatest loss over one hundred children killed in one school house lives up to 800 in five states were lost. Fathers sister Mary died at the age of 87 yr. 15 of Dec 1923 and was buried at the Aberdare Cemetary South Wales. In June a terriable earthquake in Santa Barbera Cal. Many buildings destroyed and some deaths. I was elected Auditor on the State Board of Daughter of Pioneers of Utah. April 7 1925. Thair was pledged a Beta at the U of Utah in April 1925. MEMORANDA. 1925. In June Dr Junior took the Cal State Medical examination. In July he took the Utah State Exams. Pased. July 27 1925. Myrene was made a teacher in the Primary grade of the 18 Ward Sunday School. Aug 21 June & Avon returned from Cal where they spent the summer. Ella Sutton was married to Milford Shepard. Aug 21 1925. Wm Riches oldest grandchild. Oct 1925 Myrene entered University of Utah as a Junior Thair as a Dec 2 1925. Dr was defeated in School election he has served nine years. |
