Show Know Major Paul H. Bellefontaine, \ Startzman, Ohio, native Your Officers of Lt. is assuming the duties of Commanding Officer of the Engineer Supply Section at the Utah Army Service Forces Depot. Reporting here over two weeks ago Major Spartzman has become acquainted with many of the military and civilian personnel and reports that he is highly pleased to be assigned here for duty-—-among so many fine people... Major Startzman was Commanding Officer for two months at the Albany Engineer Depot, prior to coming here. He was assigned to duty at the Schnectady ASF Depot, New York for some time and has been connected with the Albany Engineer Depot, since its acte ivation 2 A veteran of active in foreign World duty, War and I, he was was re- called to duty in the present war in April 1942. He is a graduate of the Ohio State University. Col. Merton K. Leadbetter, Chief, Stock Control assigned to the Utah Forces Depot QMC, Division, was Army Service on.September 13, 1943. He has had four years newspaper work with Chicago newspapers and three years in the grain business in Colorado. From Jan. 1935 to Dec. 19 L0, he was on active duty with Govern- ment CCC Division, and in active ser- vice with the regular Army at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland, from Dec. 19,0 to the time he was assigned here. Col. Leadbetter is please with his duties here and likes the people as well, He is married and has two children. |
